What is UniPay?
UniPay is a payment gateway for WooCommerce merchants that accepts UNC digital credits from customers using the UniCash mobile app. When a customer pays, the service rate is applied to that payment and the net amount is added to your UniPay balance. There is no interchange, there are no card network fees, and there is no chargeback risk.
The plugin is free. The service rate is applied to each payment when you receive it, not at payout: bank payouts are free and you receive exactly your available balance. There is no monthly fee.
How it works
- Customer selects UniPay at checkout. The cart total is shown in UNC (the transaction unit) with the store currency shown as reference.
- Customer scans the QR code or taps the app link. The UniCash app opens, shows the payment details, and the customer approves with their PIN.
- UniPay confirms payment via webhook. Your store's order moves to Processing automatically. No manual action needed.
- Request a payout to your nominated bank account whenever you're ready. No batch windows. Payout on your schedule.
